Recently, American Third Party Report has received information from a confidential source with additional details of an ongoing lawsuit that was filed on September 26th of last year in South Dakota by once potential Constitution Party candidate, Terry LaFleur -against National Constitution Party Chairman Frank Fluckiger, as well as the South Dakota Republican Party, along with several South Dakota GOP officers and would-be candidates thereof -which was reported here a few months ago.

Owning to the recent infighting among rival factions of the Constitution Party of South Dakota, in which Mr. LaFleur accused Frank Fluckiger, as well as rival 'SDCP' faction leaders Gordon Howie (Chairman), Joe Bergan (Vice Chairman/Chairman), and Marliee Roose -a member of the State Central Committee of the Utah Constitution Party -of 'attempting a coup de' e'tat against the state officers of the CPSD in order to prevent the CPSD from certifying legally nominated and elected statewide candidates for the November 6th 2018 ballot', as well as colluding with the named South Dakota Republican Party officials in the lawsuit, including SDGOP State Chair Dan Lederman, and Matt Johnson.

This lawsuit can be viewed in its entirety here

However, in addition to the full details of this lawsuit becoming known; the same source informed ATPR about a related, online petition (for the CP's National Committee members to sign) which was started by Constitution Party of Virginia State Chair, John Bloom, that would remove CP National Chairman Frank Fluckiger, National Vice Chairman Doug Aden, and CP National Committee member Cindy Redburn -from their positions in the CP for these quoted, unedited reasons as stated in the petition:
"1. Violated the Constitution Party Constitution Party by intervening in the internal affairs of the South Dakota Constitution Party by participating in an UNAUTHORIZED Conference Call with member of the Constitution Party of Virginia State Central Committee, that not only supported the Lora Hubble/Matt Johnson CPSD Faction, but they presented their side ONLY: I was MUTED attempting to correct some of the lies and Lori Stacey was severely SLANDERED by Lora and Matt.
"2. This Conference Call was not only UNAUTHORIZED by the CP National Executive Committee, but was set up by a FORMER Vice-Chairman of the Constitution Party of Virginia, who RESIGNED a week early and without any input or consultation with the Constitution Party of Virginia Chairman John Bloom, held an UNAUTHORIZED Conference Call meeting of the CPV SCC.
"3. This Conference Call was designed to undermine the Chairman of the CPV or destabilize the CPV, which it did as the CPV Chairman cancelled a Conference Call with members of the CPV SCC, to address UPCOMING events in Virginia and this issue was not even on the Agenda to be discussed as it caused dissension within the CPV, such that one member of the CPV SCC asked for a pause and another questioned the leadership of the CPV Chairman, and all were led to believe this was the position of the National CP, which it was not,
"4. In addition Frank Fluckiger, CONSPIRED with REPUBLICANS to SABOTAGE the Constitution Party of South Dakota resulting in all the Constitution Party candidates getting thrown off the ballot.
"5. Due to Mr. Fluckiger's involvement in the internal affairs of the South Dakota Constitution Party the Constitution Party of South Dakota lost Ballot Access.
"6. Mr. Fluckiger continues to intervene in the internal affairs of other State Parties..
"6. Due to the words and actions of Frank Fluckiger were found to be either misleading or outright LIES that ran counter to documented information.
"7. Due to the actions of Frank Fluckiger, Doug Aden and Cindy Reburn, the Constitution Party INTEGRITY PILLAR cannot COEXIST with them as Officers in the National Constitution Party..."

These appear to be quite serious accusations and charges, and ATPR has even been informed by our source and a few other anonymous CP members -that these accusations/charges in both Mr. LaFleur's lawsuit and in Mr. Bloom's online petition do have substantial merit.

Therefore, ATPR will include any new updates, statements, blog posts, rebuttals, and so on in this developing situation with the Constitution Party, in the days ahead.

The truth is the CP is a waste of time and energy. They don't want to take any action on any issue, including the right to life. They are not a serious political party and don't seem to want to win elections, just get their name on a ballot and come in last. They have no solutions to the problems facing America, they just point out whats wrong but don't want to take action. Sorry I wasted four years of my life on them.

You're fortunate; I wasted TEN years of my life with them -even cost me a marriage too :/

Anonymous, your assessment of the Current leadership of the CP is 10p% correct. However there is a group of us trying to change that. I am the Chairman of the Constitution Party of Virginia and we will be sponsoring CPAC 2019 for CP state Parties and all states are encouraged to participate. We need to increase our Media profile at events such as CPAC, I will be speaking to CPAC organizers on Monday, they want to know our expectations. I have issued press releases that offered SOLUTIONS, National on the other has offered no press releases and no solutions. National's soul focus is on ballot access not on promoting the CP. If you contact me at CPofVirginia@gmail.com I can get you in touch with others that think ad WE do and I do not want to lose someone like you.

his document was sent to ALL State Chairs in the CP back on APRIL 11th, which the first line states that the State Chairs are Highlighted in Bold Blue, scroll down the list and you will find that under South Dakota, Lori Stacey's name is highlighted in BOLD BLUE. The entire National Committee was informed that Lori Stacey was the LEGITIMATE Chairman of the CPSD. This document was sent out by Donna Ivanovich and she told me the only change request to the Chairman was made by Mike Gunn on August 21st which was correct as well. However based on a BOGUS lawsuit by Fluckiger's Flunkies in SD Frank has removed all the CPSD as members of the National Committee and not recognized another LEGITIMATE Chairman of the CPSD

Would you like to go on record about this?

There's additional rumors now that this CP National Chair in question might have also ripped off several ballot access petition-garthers of thousands of dollars that he originally promised to pay afterward.

Email address CPovVirginia@gmail.com I spent ten years of my life fighting corruption with the Conservative Party of New York where the Party BOSSES traded Republican Government jobs for the Conservative Party Line. Republicans in any state will find people within the minor party once that party becomes a threat to them as the CPSD getting ballot access became a threat to the RPSD. Some of us in minor parties CANNOT be bought others like Frank Fluckiger and Fluckiger's Flunkies can.

Ok, I'll send an email.

Wasting time is kind of subjective. One could argue that being involved in any minor party or independent politics, or politics in general for that matter, is a waste of time.

How did your involvement in the Constitution Party cause you to lose your wife?

"How did your involvement in the Constitution Party cause you to lose your wife?"

I was active to the point that I was ignoring her often and constantly spending time on the computer and at party meetings/events instead of with her & my daughter -and it pissed her off to the point that we were fighting all the time.
Fortunately after the divorce we were able to civilly talk things over and I certainly apologized to her, and regretted wasting my time trying to build up a political party that was never going to get anywhere in politics here, and also threw me and others under the bus when we were actually trying to help it with that CCTUC project years ago.

But at least me and her are friends now.

Still, I should've joined the LP sooner, and also take a more laid approach to politics and not blog as often online like I did before; a lot of those blog wars that I was involved in, or started, were also a waste of time too.

Yep, having a family and both having ADD and an extreme devotion to politics and a certain political party -is a BAD combination :/

-don't get me started on the National IAP that I briefly was involved in; compared to the structure, organization, and competence of a few of their leaders -the Constitution Party could still run circles around them. I also got tired of Kelly Gneiting screwing up and derailing what breakthroughs I was able to make in negotiations with other small minor parties on the right that could've joined up with the IAP -and didn't; because those (but not all) in the IAP, the CP, and other minor parties of the right are so dogmatically purist and uncompromising in their views and ideology, as well as being ultra-clannish and hostile to anyone else that shared their ideology that, as the saying goes- "They are so 'spiritually-minded', that they are of no earthly good." -at all.

Seriously, the narcissism in many of the minor parties of the right are much worse then the narcicssism in the Libertarian Party. I know from experience.

I concur! I am one that works with the LP, the CPV even endorsed the LP Candidate for US Senate Matt Waters in Virginia. The CPV is a different kind of CP Party, we support those that support the US Constitution and are HONEST!

That's good.

"There's additional rumors now that this CP National Chair in question might have also ripped off several ballot access petition-garthers of thousands of dollars that he originally promised to pay afterward."

Just to clarify here, I am not sure if Frank directly ripped off any petitioners, however, 2012 Constitution Party presidential candidate, and former CP National Committeeman, Virgil Goode did rip off several petitioners, one of whom was me. Frank, after being prodded, said he was going to make sure that we got paid, and he never did.

Also, to further clarify, I was ripped off on the Constitution Party petition drive in Alabama in 2012. The deal for me to work there was struck with somebody who worked for the Constitution Party national office at that time, but a few weeks into it, this person said that that CP national was running out of money, so this person said they were going to pass us over to Virgil Goode to pay us directly, which he did, up until the final turn in, where he never paid the final balance owed.

Something similar happened with the Libertarian Party during the same time period, where a deal was struck to work with the LNC, but the LNC was running out of money, so they passed us on to the Gary Johnson campaign, and the Johnson campaign paid some of the money owed, but then they claimed to be broke and said they could not pay the rest, so it went back to the LNC, who ended up paying the final balance, although it took 2 1/2 months to get it, but at least the LP paid, unlike like the CP.

Frank said that they would raise money and pay me in installments, and here we are 5 years and 4 months later, and I still have not received a penny of the money owed.

The Constitution Party in Virginia is a disgrace. I live in Richmond and they are so anti-Trump it makes me sick. At least based on what I've read. I would never join the Constitution Party of Virginia until they get rid of you as the Chair!

The Constitution Party of Virginia is ANTI-TRUMP because Trump is ANTI-CONSTITUTION, attacking Syria without Congressional Approval, Signing Executive orders for the Bump Stock Ban and Trump Tariffs. We stand with the US Constitution and against all enemies both foreign or DOMESTIC. No the CPV is NO DISGRACE those that support Trump and Claim to be supporting the US Constitution ARE the DISGRACE.

I received an email recently from some new caucus within the CP. I'm not certain how the got my email address since I have not had anything to do with the party for a very long time. I asked for the back story in my return email and so far I have not had a reply.
